Meme Soundboard is a free application that features a collection of memes from 2016 till now, including over 1000 sounds, of which 500+ are videos.
The main screen of Meme Soundboard displays a list of popular meme sounds that you can play by tapping on them. All memes are grouped by year and by category. To quickly navigate through memes, tap on the name of the current section on the app screen top left to reveal the category selector. Or simply scroll through the screen to discover categories and new memes. New memes are added almost every day, so don't forget to allow notifications to stay up-to-date.
If you tap and hold on a meme, a drop-down menu with various actions for that meme will appear. The options are: Share, Download, Save as ringtone, Add to my favorites or other created sections, Rename, and Delete (only [My Records]). If you just tap on a meme, it will play the sound and display the video (if there is one). You can tap on multiple memes at once to play them all simultaneously, depending on the selected mode.
Instead of using only My Favorites, you can organize sounds into different sections by long-pressing on an item and selecting “Add to a section” from the drop-down menu. Creating your own section is simple — tap the 📝 icon in the top toolbar.
You can create and delete your own custom sections. When deleting a section, all sounds inside it automatically return to their default locations — the sections from which they were originally moved. No sounds are ever lost. Default system sections cannot be deleted — there is simply no delete button for them.
All sections can be reordered (move them up or down), and any section can be renamed (feel free to add emojis — it looks great 😄). System sections can also be restored to their default names using the blue reset icon.
Playing with the soundboard is easy - choose a mode of clicking on the memes and tap on memes continuously without stopping ))
The modes are selected at the bottom near the Control button:
Simple - tap to play, tap to stop the sound (start/stop). Video memes are played without a pause button, which can be helpful.
Normal - each tap starts playing the sound from the beginning. Play with multiple memes at once for more fun!
Multiple - No rules! Each tap on a meme starts playing it without stopping the current sounds. Try tapping 5 times per second, the phone should keep up!
Even more fun - sound effects that can bring a new level of excitement to boring sounds.
What to do?
Call up the distortion panel by clicking on Control in the bottom left corner.
Play the sound and immediately change its speed or pitch or add distortion or reverb.
Not enough? Turn on Reverse! ))
Still not enough? Tap on all the memes in the screen, the main thing is not to stop.))
If it's too much for your ears, click Reset All and Stop All ;)
Urgently press the Stop all button at the app bottom right! Lock device or move focus from the app (standart gestures). Play with device Volume. If that didn't help(?), force quit the application. Still not stoped? Hmmm... it's probably not us, try restarting your device.
Yes, it's the nature of memes - some of them contain swear words that not everyone likes. That's why we made it possible to protect you and those around you (parents?) from them. By default, the Meme Soundboard has "Censored mode" enabled and part of the memes that are marked "Censored" cannot be heard. You can unlock all these memes in the app's settings. Be careful to ensure that such memes are appropriate and do not disturb those around you when listening. Headphones can be a good solution ;)
Finding a meme in the collection is very easy - click on the search icon 🔍 and enter the name or part of the meme's name, search is case insensitive. When entering text, the keyboard covers part of the screen, hide the keyboard to see more search results. During the search, a meme section selector is available for quick navigation.
In the Android version, you can enter cheat codes in the search field (starts with dot):

New memes are downloaded from the app server and appear first in the "Community" section. To find the latest updates, go to the "Community" section, select the "Recently added" sorting option at the app bottom, and click the "⟳" button to check for meme updates on the app server. Make sure you have an internet connection.
A new sound from the server appears almost every day, you can turn on app notifications from the app or system settings to keep up to date.
Often, with the Meme Soundboard app new version released, some memes moves from the "Community" section to the corresponding soundboard sections.
There is a special "Random meme" button in the "Other" section, or simply type "random" in the search bar. There is also an interesting feature - shake your device and hear a random meme (the currently playing meme name will be displayed at the bottom of the app).
In the app settings, you can enable/disable playing memes on device shake and select the section from which the random memes will be played. For example, in "My Favorites" or "My Records" you can add "Yes" and "No" memes and shake your device to get answers to your questions, like a "Magic 8 ball" with fortune-telling or seeking advice (Set the option in settings to choose random memes from this section.)
If you have already listened to all the memes, upload your own, create video or record sounds with friends, change the playback speed and direction, play with sounds and have fun! You can record from your microphone or camera, or import from existing media or downloaded videos/sounds on your device. All imported memes are added to the "My Records" section.
You can move them to the "My Favorites" section, rename, and even delete them.
Note: that when you uninstall the app, these memes will also be permanently deleted. So, if it's important, make sure to share/download them before ininstall/delete app.
We care about your privacy, so the memes you add are completely private, and not leave your device. No information about these memes, including click counts, titles, content, or anything else, is collected. No one will know about them unless you decide to share them with friends (Share/Download).
If you couldn't find a particular meme that you were looking for and we haven't added it yet, please suggest us through the feedback form with the developer. Go to the application settings (gear icon) and click "Suggest a sound". Write the name of the meme you want to see in the app and send it to us. We receive many such requests daily, so don't be disappointed if we can't add your meme right away. However, there is another way to see the meme in the deck - get it on your device and import it, or you can record yourself or with friends parodying the meme, which is often even more fun. Create custom sections, rename them (emojis welcome 😄), and organize sounds exactly the way you like. - Custom Meme Magic 8-Ball 🎲 – create section with this name and add yes/no/maybe sounds (with search), link this feature to Shake in the settings, and shake your phone for instant “life advice.” - Meme Karaoke Mode – lower or raise the pitch of a meme, turn off the video, and challenge friends to guess the meme from your voice imitation. - Guess the Year – play any meme and let friends guess the year it became popular using the app’s built-in year-based sections as hints. - Meme Beatbox / DJ Looping – create a section with short percussive memes and tap them rapidly in Multiple mode to perform live meme beatboxing. - Meme Storytelling – enable Shake, shake the device to trigger random memes, and build a funny improvised story based on each sound that plays. - Sound Roulette – create a custom section with funny or recorded “tasks,” use Random or Shake, and perform whatever sound-based challenge appears.
You can set a sound for a ringtone, notification, or alarm. Long tap on meme, from frop-down menu choose "Save as ringtone".
Note: The installed sound is saved in the system even after deleting the Meme Soundboard. To return the ringtone to the default system sound, go to the device settings and choose another sound.
You can't set a ringtone for the second SIM card using Android API from the app. The Android platform doesn't have support for multiple SIM cards. All devices supporting more SIM cards are running versions of the Android OS that were customized by the manufacturers. However, you may set SIM2 ringtone from the System settings -> Sounds and vibration -> Ringtone -> SIM2 -> '+' select latest meme ringtone

Here it's simple, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Meme Soundboard app. Everything is simple described on the next screen.
We try to provide the Meme Soundboard app for free for everyone, so we added minimal ads to the app. You can play all the memes without seeing any annoying ads - only with one small inconspicuous banner.
Some users have requested the ability to completely get rid of ads for an additional fee. That's why we made these users VIP and gave them a new feature to conveniently download memes, thanks for their support.

To ensure the functionality of some features of the Android application, the system may request permissions from you for the Meme Soundboard.
You can view/give/cancel all the app permissions in the device system settings (search for "meme" and go to the system settings for the app) at any moment.
What permissions may be requested and for what:
- Notifications. We are keep adding memes mostly every day, so please allow app notifications to stay up to date with the latest updates. In the latest versions of Android, if the application is not used for some time, the system stops delivering notifications from it. You will need to check in the app or system settings that app notifications permission is still enabled.
- Internet access. Meme Soundboard check for updates on the app server via the internet - the appearance and downloading of new memes, updating the counters of meme clicks.
- Record audio. Used only to record your sounds from the microphone. It's all clear, allow if you need it.
- READ_MEDIA_VIDEO/READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) - for importing/exporting memes to/from the Android storage we need access to audio and video.
- MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS/WRITE_SETTINGS - This is exclusively for ringtones.
- VIBRATION - to be able to vibrate every time you press a meme (if enabled in the application settings).
Meme Soundboard uses the permission granted to the application to use these system resources only for the stated functionality. We value your privacy.
We respect your privacy and do not collect any information about you.
The Meme Soundboard app only collect the number of clicks on memes, which is absolutely anonymous information (without any relation to the user or device).
The collected anonymous statistics on the popularity of listening to memes of all users worldwide can be viewed by selecting "Most Popular" sorting and "Always show play count" app setting is enabled. The app server only stores the names of memes and the number of clicks (except you own recorded/imported memes from "My Records" section).
We also use standard advertising and analytics from Google. You can see what information these guys collect on their servers with their Privacy policy pages.
We are appologiges, but sometimes this may happens.
Check if you have enough volume to hear the sounds.
Try restarting the app - close it through the task manager and open it again. Sometimes this doesn't help either. Write to the developer with a description of the problem (app settings -> contact developer), screenshots, and videos of the program's behavior will help to understand what is wrong and what needs to be fixed to make the app better. As a last resort - reinstall the Meme Soundboard, hopefully, this will help.
Before reinstalling, export all your imported memes to the device.
